Even when your world seems out of control, and lets be honest it often does, you can still always control what goes on inside.
Try this simple exercise
1. Find a quiet place with no distractions
2. Sit comfortably
3. Set a timer to 60 seconds
4. Close your eyes and breathe deeply trying to keep your focus only on the inhale and exhale of the breath
5. Keep going
6. After the time is up stay seated and calmly try to think things through again, see what comes to the surface. If you still feel frazzled, repeat the minute again.
For me I find this really helps. I have a few breathe apps on my phone to encourage this conscious time to calm with the breath. xx
